The five new species described and figured here, were collected on wild plants in two of the National Parks of South Africa. The species are: Tetranychus pafuriensis, Oligonychus grewiae/ Eotetranychus obtusus, Schizotetranychus protectus and S. nesbitti. New locality records are given for Tefranychus neoca/edon/cus Andre, T. lombardinii Baker & Pritchard, OJ/gonychus hadrus Pritchard & Baker and O. grypus Baker & Pritchard.
